Thank you for supporting Forte Vocal!
Tonight we are an 8-piece quartet; AKA: “double quartet”; AKA “double forte!” Or even “fortissimo,” for those musicians and Italian speakers. Forte means “strong,” and that’s what we strive to achieve: an impactful, enthusiastic performance to honor Veterans and those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom, safety, and abundance in the USA.
We also want to celebrate the American spirit through song: folk, spiritual, popular, patriotic, and even a smattering of music from the stage! We plan to tour this show to VAs and nursing homes free of charge and our second show will be at the Reno VA on Saturday, July 12 at 1pm. Please support us in this charitable effort if you can.
We also hope to provide affordable entertainment to fit whatever personal, group or corporate, function you may want to book us for. We perform jazz, opera, Broadway, popular, choral 4-part harmony, or an eclectic mix of whatever vocal styles you may want.
For today, though, we are happy to bring you this free concert and salute to our country. No matter our race, religion, age, or gender we can all be proud of and grateful for the country we live in, our shared experience, our historical struggles and victories, and we can have collective hope for the future. On the weekend of our nation’s birth, let us come together in peace and concord in celebration of our homeland those who protect and defend it.
